Be WOW'ed!

Have you met Karen Zoid? well, tonight is your chance! Hop on a tube straight after work and head to Highbury & Islington on the Victoria line, turn right out the station and walk towards the big church steeple.

What does this have to do with Karen Zoid you ask? And perhaps you're still unsure who exactly this woman is!?

Zoid is hailed as South Africa's afrikaans rock chick. Think Sheryl Crow with the angst of Pink or Avril Lavigne and a whole lot of gusto and personality and a voice to impress across genres! Then take this amazing voice and imagine it in the acoustic confines of a high-ceiling'ed chapel. And this dear Londoners, is the experience I lay before you. Tonight. Islington. Union Chapel.

A most unique experience of being engulged in the stained-glass spectacular of a superb church and with an unplugged session of Zoid-ness going on before you! Even if you've never heard the lass before, dont let that stop you. By the end of the show you will feel as tho you've made a new friend, or at least wish to be part of her kooky world. A world which seems so care-free and down right fun. The music captures all of this from lyrical story sessions of experiences past to creative sounds emanating from guitar, beating on guitar or by tossing her vocal reach around the interior of that church.

Get ready to be WOW'ed. Its a beautiful day outside and tonight you can top it. You will leave feeling inspired and excited bout your weekend! Leave work, do not pass go, go straight to the Union Chapel in islington, be there from 7pm and tickets still on the door. Tonight is gonna be a full crowd of people who know the magic she is waiting to unravel, make sure you're one of them!

Rock on Zoid,
x
