Where does time go?

A month has plundered on since I took the plunge of starting this blog...
'South African music in London must be promoted holistically...'
...is the motivating thought I've had for so long! Not just artists promoted individually, but South African artists promoted solidly... from one portal, with comment & insight and an all encompassing gig guide... to entice your musical ear and whet your artist performance appetite so as to explore SA artists in London!

I've always adored intimate gigs and smaller venues as it allows a sense of bonding with a band! This is why South Africans who play in and around London are actually indirectly spoiling us with choice as they gig around London town in a variety of uber atmospheric music venues, steeped in character and ancient secrets of bands before!

Venues such as the Halfmoon in Putney, the Kings Head in Fulham, the Troubadour in Earls Court as well as some great central London spots and not forgetting of course the great venues in Camden!

I am so over concerts at Wembely Arena and other such large impersonal expanses of seats to cram in excessive amounts of over-priced ticket suckers!

Bring on the smaller intimate artist offerings!
