Hyping up Hyde Park...

With only a few hours to go until the kick off of 46664 - Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday party in Hyde Park - they must be doing final tweaks to the stage and backstage stuff...

And first up is none other than our very own Johnny Clegg! Wow - what an opening that should be! Plus Soweto Gospel Choir on stage!

But if you cant make the 46664 concert tonight - worry not, for Johnny Clegg is coming back! Yip, thats right - you heard it here... and only a 2 month wait - with TWO energised gigs at the end of August!

And as if one night in Hyde Park is not enough - tomorrow and Sunday sees the Hard Rock Calling festival kick off for 2 days! At 50 quids a piece, tickets are a bit dear - but I desprately want to see artists on both days... John Mayer, Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton tomorrow - and The Police, KT Tunstall and our very own home-grown Arno Carstens as well!

What a music weekend ahead it is - and not to mention that Glastonbury has already kicked off down south. And along with it, we have already had some traditional summer showers too! Mud mud glorious mud :)
