Bright skies ahead.... 2008 feels great!

Since last I wrote we experienced the longest night, but probably hardly even noticed it since Christmas was hot on its heels with last minute shopping, planning where we would be on Christmas day and looking forward to some time off work for most!

Now, looking back, it all flew by as fast as expected. But from where I sit today, the skies are blue, the days already feel longer. And I for one am enthralled by the prospect of the new year and all the new-ness that it brings.

And since I recently watched Me, Myself and Dupree for the first time, I picked up on the quirkiness that is Owen Wilson's whacky but lovable character and how he found his purpose in life in the most bizarre of ways. And in motivating his friend by appealing to that something-that-makes-him-special: his Carl-ness...

And he introduced the motivational concept of finding your "ness"! That which makes you, you! So, in search of pure Soosi-ness, I encourage you all to do the same this year! And as always works for me, music is the best inspiration along the way!

May you all discover many wonderful new bands and artists, old favourites and make many new memories along with all the music in your life! Let music be your memory!
